Profile

Lisa has been working in a Public Health capacity for 20 years and is registered on the UK Public Health Register as a public health practitioner. Lisa has been working for Food for Life Soil Association since 2015 with schools in Leicester City. The focus of this work is on healthy eating, improving the lunchtime experience and a whole school approach to food. This includes improving the dining room experience for children, improving cooking skills for teachers, working with local farms and increasing food growing in schools. Lisa has developed and delivered midday supervisor training in schools and organises regular training sessions for staff in schools with specialist professionals.

Lisa has been leading on an intergenerational project linking grandmas into a school setting. The grandmas have been instrumental in improving cutlery skills with Reception children from starting in September 2018 to December 2019.
