The FEED: Pioneering Food Equity and Ecological Diets project is a multidisciplinary research project developing the first in a line of novel hybrid food products that combine UK-grown pulses, vegetables, and wild venison for use in schools. The project, led by the University of Exeter with collaborators at the University of Reading, and Imperial College London, seeks to investigate how these products can improve nutritional quality, reduce environmental impact, and strengthen local food systems for vulnerable populations.
