The Children and Climate Initiative, a global research and policy project based at the Blavatnik School of Government, has joined the World Health Organisation’s Alliance for Transformative Action on Climate and Health (ATACH).
The initiative includes contributions from ECI researchers Professor Myles Allen and Dr Neven Fućkar, who are part of the wider international consortium developing evidence on how climate change affects child development and informing responses across health and education systems.
ATACH brings together over 100 countries and more than 100 partner organisations working to strengthen climate-resilient health systems and integrate climate considerations into national and global planning.
Through this new partnership, the Children and Climate Initiative will contribute research expertise on climate impacts on children into global policy discussions.
