Analysing networks and supply chains to enable sustainable and resilient mobility
Overview
OPSIS build very large-scale models of transport systems to understand supply chains, the roles that transport systems have in supporting economic activities and the potential disruption from transport failures. The team study road, rail and shipping networks and are experts in employing large transport datasets, which are used to build network models in several countries and globally. These models are used to quantify the risks to transport networks from climatic extremes and to prioritise investments in resilience.
