Profile

After graduating with dual undergraduate degrees in Environmental Studies and Film Studies, I spent several years working in television and media production in Los Angeles. I then completed my Masters in applied ecology at Imperial College London in 2017 and worked for a short time as a science communicator and freelance journalist. From 2018 to early 2022, I was the Visual Storyteller Specialist at Columbia University's International Research Institute for Climate and Society in New York City, where I worked on written communications as well as producing several short documentary films.

My research interests include food systems and climate, with a specific niche in banana food systems. I am also interested in effective methods of communications related to food systems and climate, especially in social media and multimedia formats.
