Profile

After graduating with dual undergraduate degrees in Environmental Studies and Film Studies, Jacquelyn spent several years working in television and media production in Los Angeles. She then completed a Masters in Applied Ecology at Imperial College London in 2017 and worked for a short time as a science communicator and freelance journalist. From 2018 to early 2022, Jacquelyn was the Visual Storyteller Specialist at Columbia University's International Research Institute for Climate and Society in New York City, where she worked on written communications as well as producing several short documentary films.

Her research interests include food systems and climate, with a specific niche in banana food systems. Jacquelyn is also interested in effective methods of communications related to food systems and climate, especially in social media and multimedia formats.
