Dr Yu Mo is a Career Development Fellow at Christ Church College and the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford.
Her research focuses on the role of coastal ecosystems as nature-based solutions for climate-risk adaptation and mitigation. She is particularly interested in how these ecosystems contribute to storm protection, with an emphasis on quantifying how their inherent resilience shapes their protective functionality.
Yu is passionate about advancing Earth and data-science methodologies to deepen our understanding of coastal ecosystem dynamics at regional and global scales.
