Tedd Moya Mose is an international legal scholar specialising in energy law, climate change, sustainable finance, and the just energy transition. His research contributes a global perspective to debates on energy law and climate justice, sustainable finance, governance, and technology. A Common Law lawyer and scholar-practitioner, he combines extensive experience in transactions, advisory, strategy, and dispute resolution with academic research, advancing interdisciplinary work on law, governance, and globalisation. He has advised governments and multilateral institutions—including at the UNFCCC, EBRD, WTO, IMF, AfCFTA, and, IGAD,—on climate, environment, trade, ESG, and energy systems, linking legal expertise with international policy processes.
He is the founder of Lex Navitas and has led renewable energy, agroforestry, and infrastructure projects across Africa, while also supporting philanthropy, impact investment, and innovation initiatives. Frequently consulted by public and private actors ranging from multinationals to start-ups, he also serves as a board member and strategist in conservation, education, philanthropy, and technology ventures in sub-Saharan Africa. Dr Mose was the inaugural PhD scholar at the Energy Law Institute, Queen Mary University of London, and has held academic posts at Oxford, LSE, St Andrews, Cape Town, Michigan, and Dundee. His research affiliations extend to South East Asia, complementing his pan-African expertise with comparative global insights. His work seeks to internationalise research on the just transition and strengthen the links between scholarship, policy, and practice in sustainable development.
