Steven Rubinyi is a Senior Disaster Risk Management Specialist at the World Bank, where he works to bring emerging digital technologies to cities to support their resilience planning efforts under the City Resilience Program. Steven also leads the City Creditworthiness Initiative and works at a thematic level on communities of practice aimed at leveraging geospatial solutions across the World Bank investment portfolio and bringing innovative financing solutions to cities. He has worked at the World Bank for 10 years, currently based in Hanoi, Vietnam, focusing his efforts on the East Asia region.
He holds a PhD from the Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford.
