Profile

Dr Roosa Lambin is a Research Associate in Adaptation and Resilience, and engages in research and programme management across diverse projects. Roosa is a Social Policy scholar with particular expertise in philanthropic development actors, global health, and social protection systems in the sub-Saharan African region. She has published in leading social policy journals and currently acts as the co-lead editor for two forthcoming book publications. She frequently collaborates with different research institutions, including the Open University and the UN University's World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER). She has contributed to multiple projects commissioned by leading national and international organisations, including the International Labour Organization (ILO), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

Roosa holds a DPhil in Social Policy from the University of Oxford, an MA in International Social Policy from the University of Nottingham, and a BA in Social Policy from the University of Turku.
