ECI’s Professor Jim Hall has been re-appointed to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority’s Expert Advisory Council.
Prof Hall, Professor of Climate and Environmental Risks at the Environmental Change Institute (ECI), and lead of the Oxford Programme for Sustainable Infrastructure Systems, is one of five experts appointed to the Council, which provides independent advice and constructive challenge to support the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority’s (NISTA) work on infrastructure strategic planning, project delivery, private finance and public service transformation.
Commenting on his reappointment, he said: “I’m excited to have been re-appointed to NISTA’s Expert Advisory Council. NISTA is crucial to achieving the government’s ambitions for growth, which is facilitated by resilient and sustainable infrastructure. Its creation signals a commitment to joining up infrastructure strategy, planning, procurement and asset management, to deliver better services.”
Prof Hall’s research focuses on infrastructure systems, climate resilience and spatial planning.
