Profile

I am an empirical social scientist with a focus on the social mechanisms that drive low carbon behaviour and lifestyle change. I have researched and published work measuring and testing the saliency and appeal of national policy, social influences on adoption decisions, perceptions and preferences for innovation attributes. Currently I am exploring the potential impact of low-carbon lifestyles and lifestyle change on mitigation pathways towards net zero. I have a background in quantitative social statistics, expertise in working with large social surveys, and professional qualifications in marketing.
