Based at Wytham Woods, Oxford University's research woodland, this 3-day summer camp for 16 to 28 year olds is an opportunity to share and expand your own ideas about climate, nature and how we can tackle global issues.

The course is run by the Oxford Earth Academy, with experts from ECI and the University woodland research team.

About the course

A small group of 12 students and 2 staff will spend a few days in the woods and farmland, connecting with around 8 different experts in biodiversity, climate and sustainable farming.

You will be discussing climate policies, energy policy, the climate implications for nature, how nature can help reduce the impacts of climate change, and how our food systems can help turn round our climate and biodiversity challenges.

I really miss the ECI course and all the wonderful people involved. It was a fantastic and memorable experience. In fact, it helped me realize what I’m truly passionate about and therefore what I’m going to study at University: Environmental and Sustainability Studies! Thank you again for such an extraordinary and life-changing opportunity." Melissa, summer school student.
