Hazel Pettifor is a Senior Researcher at the Environmental Change Institute, School of Geography and the Environment.
Hazel is an empirical social scientist who trained at the Institute of Social and Economic Research, at the University of Essex, UK. Her work focuses on social science phenomena that explain consumption choices related to pro-environmental behaviour and low carbon adoption.
She specialises in working with secondary large scale social science data, more recently working at the interface of social science and global energy systems modelling.
