Organisation/Company Description

3Keel is an Oxford-based research consultancy firm specialising in sustainable business practices, quantifying opportunity, risk, and impact, and natural resource stewardship. We are a small expert team focused on delivering innovative solutions to the challenges we face in a range of areas, including: food systems, raw material risk assessment, life cycle thinking, data and systems intelligence, and international development.

Project Details

The internship position in our firm is flexible and will largely follow the projects we are undertaking at the time of placement matched to the skills of the intern. As a small business, our interns work directly with partners and consultants and will experience client-facing meetings and practical project work. In the past interns that have worked with us have supported projects for The Crown Estate, WRAP, Tesco, WWF, Oxfam, and Oxford City Council.

Applicant Profile

Strong research, data analysis, and presentation skills are essential to this role. In particular, the ability to rapidly review, digest, and synthesise various information sources, including the interrogation of datasets. Ideally candidates will have a commitment to sustainability and experience working with data in MS Excel using advance formulas and/or using GIS mapping tools. You should be a self starter that is personable and able to work with others.
