MSc Environmental Change and Management

The MSc in Environmental Change and Management has been running at the Environmental Change Institute (ECI) since 1994. It is one of the most successful programmes in environmental science and leadership in the world. It is part of the School of Geography and the Environment's International Graduate School.
The ECI offers a distinctive inter-disciplinary approach. ECI staff are pioneering research into climate, ecosystems, and energy. The institute’s unique intellectual continuum stretches from scientific enquiry into the processes of environmental change to the analysis of sustainable solutions and the promotion of change for the better.
The MSc consistently attracts nearly 300 applicants every year, from over 40 countries, with backgrounds in natural science, social science, humanities and law. Over 600 students have graduated since the course was established. They have gone on to follow successful careers as environmental leaders in business, government, NGOs or academia.
