Energy Plus
Energy-plus fridges and freezers use less than half the energy used by average appliances, saving money for consumers and reducing carbon emissions. The project, which works in 13 European countries, has transformed the market for super-efficient appliances. ECI's Dr Brenda Boardman was the representative for the Energy Plus project in the UK.
