Climate Change: A Scientific Briefing Day for Artists
In June 2007 the ECI and TippingPoint hosted a one day briefing on climate change for artists.
Senior Research Fellows and the Director of the Environmental Change Insitute spoke to the invited audience of over 70 artists about climate change, from the science of prediction and modelling, to the social and political issues of carbon labelling and offsetting. The lectures were each followed by lively debate with questions for the scientists ranging from the ethics of carbon offsetting to the validation of climate models using remote sensing.
