A travel bursary application form can be downloaded here in MS Word format and should be returned to Dr David Lane. Applicants are requested that the forms are submitted at least one month before the conference. This is to allow applicants time to puchase cheaper flights etc. by booking in advance after the awards have been made.

Previous Awards

A travel bursary has already been awarded to Dr. Ralph Gottschalg to enable him to attend the 29th IEEE Photovoltaics Specialists Conference in New Orleans in May 2002. Read his report of this event here, and read his papers on the publications page.

A travel bursary was also awarded to Dr Christian N. Jardine for attendance at the PV in Europe Conference, held in Rome in October 2002. A report of this event is presented here, and abstracts are presented on the publications page.

Thomas Bauer attended the TPV5 Conference that took place in Rome during September 2002 for which he received a PVNet bursary. Read the report here.

Dr. I M Dharmadasa attended the 3rd World Conference on Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conversion in Osaka, Japan with the aid of a PV Net bursary. Read his report here.
