Profile

Karis is responsible for coordinating Oxford’s Water Security research and administrative activities, through the development of the University of Oxford Water Security Network. This involves:

• Developing a coherent identity and research agenda for the network
• Enhancing internal communication of research activities and opportunities
• Organising network meetings and events, including workshops, lecture series and encounters at external fora
• Supporting research staff with the development of major collaborative research proposals and in the preparation of research publications
• Building relationships with strategic partners, both locally and internationally
• Analysing opportunities for major funding from UK and international funders
