We proudly present: The ECI Alumni Network!

About 1000 former MSc and DPhil students as well as past staff are working in over 70 countries worldwide, making their mark to make this world a better place. Whether in academia, business, government or NGOs, together they form an extremely interesting, diverse and international network of environmental experts.

Our alumni meet at the annual ECI Alumni Dinner and informal drinks events in London and around the world. They connect on Social Media and via a mailing list to exchange knowledge, news and simply keep in touch with the great friends they made during their time at the ECI.

They share job vacancies, suggest dissertation topics, mentor current students and get involved in ECI’s Sustainability Internship Programme. There are many ways to engage and we look forward to staying in touch!

"It’s one of the unique aspects of this course – you bring people from across the world together for one intensive year, you expose them to all these different ideas, theories, frameworks, management strategies – and then they go back. It is almost as if you are pollinating the world with a group of environmental leaders. And everyone wants to go home – whether it’s to business, NGOs or government – and make change. Now we have the tools to do that"

Sean Lemon, ECM 2013-14
