ECI to lead new programme on Resource Stewardship at the Oxford Martin School.

The Environmental Change Institute has been successful in the latest funding round from the Oxford Martin School and will jointly lead a new project on Resource stewardship starting October 2012.

The project aims to radically rethink global resource stewardship to consider the tensions within an increasingly crowded world, accountable to future generations. It will be led by Professor Myles Allen and Professor Jim Hall both from the ECI alongside Professor Steve Rayner; and Professor Kathy Willis from the wider university.

The programme is one of six new projects generated from a highly competitive and innovative funding process, with over 330 individual applications received from across the University. Other successful projects can be read about on the Oxford Martin School website.
